Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Department is an all volunteer fire and rescue department providing fire, rescue and EMS protection to Harrison Township. We are located in eastern Ross county approximately seven miles outside of Chillicothe, Ohio. We currently have approximately thirty or so active members. These members are trained as fire fighters and/or Emergency Medical Technicians. Our members devote a lot of time and effort into running our department. Not for money or fame. They don't do it for glory. Our members do what they do out of care for their neighbors. These men and women are dedicated to serving the community that they live in. Currently the department operates five trucks (four fire apparatus and one ACLS ambulance). These are all located in the one station we have located at 7489 Charleston Pike. Each year our department holds various fundraisers through out the year to help raise money to aid in the operation of the fire department. Check out our fundraisers page for more information. If you think that you might be interested in joining the fire department, please check out our join HTVFD page. There you will find information on how to join as well as the requirements for membership. You can also download an application. |
